Listen, drink and eat to your hearts content. Soprano Barbara Graham, baritones Craig Beardsworth and Matt Landreth, and pianist Fiona McCabe perform some of the great operatic arias while the audience sits back with a glass of bubbles. An hour of music is followed by a sumptuous meal designed and prepared by top chef Antony North. Dress snug and bring a rug as the woolshed can get cold later in the evening.
Please Note: The bar at Opera in the Woolshed is CASH ONLY, sorry no EFTPOS.
Your performers for the evening are:
Matthew Landreth, a Wellington-based baritone originally from Owaka in South Otago. He has performed as soloist with opera companies, orchestras and choirs throughout New Zealand, most recently with NBR New Zealand opera, including as an emerging and resident artist.
Craig Beardsworth has sung from Kerikeri to Bluff for audiences as diverse as HRH Princess Anne . . . and an ostrich. Sadly, these were separate events.
Soprano Barbara Graham is a 2015 New Zealand opera freemasons resident artist and freemasons opera scholar, having come out of the New Zealand opera emerging artist programme in 2007.
