Colin has opened up many a Kiwi’s ears to music. His passion and knowledge of the subject have been honed since he got into the industry in the 1960s. He’s a familiar face and a familiar voice to us all, from owning his own shop for 30 years to appearing regularly on radio, TV and in the Dominion Post. He’s one of the country’s music gurus, a taste-meister and a trendsetter. Along with his love of music Colin’s collected over 1000 books, especially about Jazz and Blues and he’ll bring some rarities to illustrate his recollections.
