From far and wide, second hand booksellers will be assembled in the town's historic ANZAC Hall. Come and indulge in book paradise - hardback, softback, fact and fiction, written in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas. Speak with the Booksellers themselves, pick their brains about what they think you'll enjoy and revel in the Booktown environment. The Hall is steeped in history and is a significant setting for the country's inaugural Booktown events. Fitzherbert St will offer a parade of second hand books too, drawing you through the town's boutique businesses. Featherston was the service town for the country's largest ever military training camp. Hear the turning of pages where boots once marched.
