Thank you for registering your child / children for Alice in Wonderland on Sunday in Masterton. We’ve had an amazing response and are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 25th October. I’ve attached the final timings, please make sure you read the information so you know what is going on.
Important Notes
- You need to bring a plate of food to share at the Mad Hatters Tea Party (a packet of biscuits is fine!). Drop this off at the DRINK ME TABLE AT THE PARK (It will be sign posted)
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Wet weather alternative venue is Masterton Intermediate School Hall – visit kokomai.co.nz / Facebook – kokomaicreativefestival or More FM Facebook pages for a location update at 8am on Saturday 24th.
Timing for Alice in Wonderland in Masterton on Sunday 25 Oct
9.45 – 10.00 - Children dress up as your favourite Alice character and assemble at Mitre 10 Mega carpark to meet the Mad Hatter and March Hare.
11.00 - event begins – The Queen of Hearts is not Happy, someone has stolen her tarts
11.30 – Regent Cinema showing a special screening of Alice in Wonderland (PLEASE NOTE THIS MOVIE IS NOT FREE, YOU PURCHASE TICKETS FROM THE REGENT)
1.30pm – 1.55pm Gather at Wonderland (Bridge next to the Train Island in QE11 Park) for fun and games including bubble blowing with the blue caterpillar and Cheshire cat, whacky croquet with the king and Queen of Hearts, storytelling, mystery solving and, of course, the Mad Hatter's tea party!
The event will finish between 3 and 3.30pm depending on numbers of children
