If you love theatre, film, song and live music, Daffodils is a must see.
Daffodils is a charming, riotous and quintessentially Kiwi love story, inspired by true events and small-town family secrets. The story follows Rose, a farm girl at the tender age of 16 and Eric, 18, a teddy boy who meet at a lake by the Daffodils. The same place Eric’s parents met 20 years earlier. This critically acclaimed heartbreaker carves out the bittersweet nuances of one couple’s life to a live mix-tape of New Zealand’s most iconic songs - from Crowded House to Bic Runga, played onstage by a three-piece international band.
Daffodils remixes iconic NZ songs - from Crowded House / Bic Runga / Chris Knox / The Mint Chicks / Dave Dobbyn / The Exponents / Darcy Clay / The Mutton Birds / Th'Dudes / The Senators / The Swingers / Blam Blam Blam - Remixed and performed by The Lips and Abraham Kunin
