Described as a ‘national treasure’ and ‘New Zealand’s most indispensable ensemble’ by William Dart, NZHerald, NZTrio is renowned for its eclectic repertoire, outstanding talent, and warm kiwi stage presence.

To introduce some spice into the evening you’ll be seated cabaret-style in tables of 10, whilst savouring a selection of pre-show tapas, especially created for this event by celebrated chef Antony North. The NZ Trio smash outmoded preconceptions of classical music being ‘stuffy’ or ‘intimidating’ by presenting a fresh and approachable ethos that appeals to listeners from all walks of life.

Enjoy a single movement ‘tasting platter’ of a programme, full of vibrant, piquant music from Spain, Argentina, Brazil, and beyond. Works by Ravel, Piazzolla, Cassado and Albeniz will be offered up alongside local New Zealand toe-tapping faves such as Claire Cowan and Alex Taylor.
